Terms of Service

1. Who we are

CompareForecourt is operated by KAZ Agentic Tech Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at support@compareforecourt.com.

2. What CompareForecourt is, and what it isn't

CompareForecourt is an AI-assisted vehicle-comparison tool. You paste public vehicle listings; we extract structured data, fetch DVSA MOT history where available, and generate AI-driven scores, model-reputation profiles, and ranked recommendations.

What we are NOT. We are not a vehicle dealer, broker, financial adviser, mechanic, or insurance broker. Our scores, profiles, recommendations, and total-cost-of-ownership estimates are generated by AI from public listing text and third-party data. They are guidance for your own research, not professional advice. You must independently verify any vehicle before purchase (mechanical inspection, finance check, history check, viewing the vehicle in person). We are not liable for purchase decisions you make based on our output.

3. Your account

You sign in via Google OAuth or via a one-time email magic link. You must be at least 18 and a resident of the United Kingdom. You are responsible for the security of the account you sign in to and for activity carried out under it.

You may close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, abuse the service, attempt to bypass usage limits, or fail to pay.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • scrape, crawl, mirror, or systematically download our content;
  • resell, sublicense, or repackage our service or its output;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive prompts;
  • create multiple accounts to bypass free-tier limits;
  • upload listing text intended to inject prompts or manipulate AI output;
  • use the service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or to harass others.

5. Plans, passes & credits

Starter is free and capped at 2 lifetime saved listings plus a weekly credit allowance for AI features. The lifetime listing count is not refunded by deleting listings.

Plus and Max are paid passes (1-week or 2-week duration). Passes are one-shot, not subscriptions: they expire on the stated end date and we will not auto-renew or auto-charge. When a pass expires, your account drops back to Starter and your weekly credit allowance ends. Any credits you didn't use inside that pass window are forfeit and do not carry over.

Single Deep purchases are a separate one-off product (£2.20). Each purchase grants 1 Deep analysis credit that sits on your account until used. These credits do not expire when your weekly pass expires, and remain redeemable even on the Starter plan.

We may change credit costs, plan allowances, and prices with notice. Changes take effect for purchases made after the change date and do not retroactively apply to passes you've already paid for.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Right to cancel, and your waiver. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you would normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase for a refund. Because our service is digital content delivered immediately, by purchasing a pass you (a) expressly consent to immediate provision and (b) acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once the pass has been delivered. You confirm this each time you purchase a pass; the consent is recorded against your purchase.

Once a pass is delivered we do not offer refunds (whether full, partial, prorated, for unused days, or for downgrade-related reasons). This does not affect your statutory rights (see paragraph 11).

Downgrades. While you have an active higher-tier pass (e.g. Max), you cannot purchase a lower-tier pass (e.g. Plus). The system blocks the purchase. You may purchase another pass at the same or higher tier to extend your access. If you want to downgrade, wait for your current pass to expire and purchase the lower tier on your next pass.

Exceptional circumstances. If you believe your account was charged in error (duplicate charge, charge after cancellation, fraud), contact us at support@compareforecourt.com within 30 days. We will investigate and refund where the charge was clearly in error.

7. AI-generated content disclaimer

Our AI extracts data from listings and generates summaries, scores, comparisons, and recommendations. AI output may be incorrect, incomplete, biased, or outdated. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content. Always verify critical information (price, mileage, history, MOT status) directly with the seller and through official sources before purchase.

8. Third-party data

We use third-party data sources including (without limitation) the DVSA MOT History API, listing-site content you paste in, Google identity, Stripe payments, Resend transactional email, and Anthropic for AI processing. We do not control these services and cannot guarantee their accuracy, availability, or continued provision.

Where vehicle history information is provided (MOT records, mileage flags, recall information), this comes from third-party sources and we present it as-is. Always run an independent HPI / Cazana / AA history check before purchase for full assurance.

9. Affiliate links

Some outbound links earn us a commission if you buy through them: insurance comparison, vehicle history checks, used-car warranties and car finance. Each one is labelled "Affiliate" where it appears.

It costs you nothing extra, and it does not affect anything we show you about a vehicle. Scores, price assessments and completeness checks are computed from the listing and from public data; no partner can pay to change them, and we do not rank or recommend vehicles by what they earn us.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep CompareForecourt available 24/7 but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the service down for maintenance, security, or upstream-provider outages without notice. Pass durations are calendar-based and are not extended to compensate for downtime unless an outage exceeds 24 consecutive hours.

11. Limits on our liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law (including your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you have paid us during that period.

We are not liable for: (a) the price you paid for a vehicle; (b) the condition, history, or fitness of any vehicle; (c) any financial loss arising from a purchase decision you made; (d) loss of profits, business, or anticipated savings; (e) any indirect or consequential loss.

12. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes (price changes, refund policy changes, significant scope changes) will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

14. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that you may bring a claim in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
